Fold in the edges of the orange box, and glue the tabs to the outside edges. Attach the bunny ears to the small, green piece using the tab/slit provided.įold the green piece along the score lines, and attach the tabs: forming a small box.Īttach the box using the tab/slits provided on the top of the main, yellow piece.Ĥ. Next, layer the back wallpaper to the inside of the orange box. Use hot glue to attach the mylar piece to the inside of the box.ģ. Use foam tape to attach the knobs and frame for extra depth. Start by layering on the TV front pieces. I used a lime green color to mark the score lines, so hopefully that helps! If you’re having trouble with the score lines, check out this video.Ģ. Note: If you are using the SVG files that includes the score lines, don’t forget to set them as such in Cricut Design Space and attach them to their shapes before sending them through your cutting machine. Use your cutting machine or X-ACTO knife, along with my template, to cut out all of the 3D retro TV pieces. So, this craft is a little homage to my childhood!ġ. I also remember setting it to channel 3 in order to watch something on the VCR. I remember having to get up and turn the dial in order to change the channel (which is probably the reason we always sat on the floor, directly in front of the TV). I am actually old enough to recall these kinds of television sets! The first TV we had as a kid had the little dials on it. Like this design? Consider leaving a tip.
